This hotel will sit within the Apex brand which is a family owned company which started in Edinburgh, currently there are 3 properties in London, 4 in Edinburgh, 1 in Glasgow and 1 in Dundee.


Okura Nikko Hotels came to see us recently and the group has more than 70 properties globally (The Netherlands, Germany, US, Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Guam, Palau). Here are a few key facts:

Warwick conferences has announced that its new venue will be known as ‘The Slate’. It is located on the University of Warwick campus and cost £5.3m.
The venue will offer 650sqm of flexible event space with capacity for 400 delegates seated. It is a blank canvas space and is available on an exclusive basis only. The venue is located in a beautiful waterfront location adjacent to the existing training and conference venues – Scarman and Radicliffe. Guests using the venue will have access to the 358 hotel-style bedrooms located at the Scarman and Radcliffe conference centres. The blank canvas space will welcome its first corporate client in December.
