Located in Greater Manchester, The Lowry was the first major organisation and venue on Salford Quays which is now home to a number of large event space in Manchester.
The Lowry is a unique venue which is a registered charity, therefore any event going into the venue the revenue will be re-invested making future events even better. Added extras such as gallery tours, exhibitions or theatre shows can be incorporated into the event and can utilise the artistic atmosphere of the theatre as well as enhancing networking opportunities.
As The Lowry is an individual venue they pride themselves on flexible service and changing what they can offer based on each events requirements, which has lead to great feedback from clients. They also provide all their catering and AV from their in-house team, making event planning easier and more efficient.
The South of England Event Centre is located at the South of England Showground in the village of Ardingly, West Sussex. All venue hire income from the South of England Event Centre is donated to the South of England Agricultural Society for educational and charitable use, for example, the Society supports local agricultural colleges with an annual competition for young adults with special educational needs. Held in March, the event also offers hands on experience of sheep dog handling and milking…using an artificial cow!
External event clients range from Art & Antique Fairs to Classic Motorbikes, from Farming & Countryside conferences to Wedding Fairs and in September 2017 a “Little Mix” open-air concert. With ample free parking for up to 6000 cars and a dedicated lorry park, organisers can be confident that delegates and guests will enjoy easy access to their events.
The South of England Event Centre’s 150 acres of open spaces has views of the South Downs and lies close to the Bluebell Railway, currently being visited by the “Flying Scotsman”. Corporate companies using the South of England Event Centre can plan leadership or team building events indoors or out with space to zone different activities around the grounds.
The Event Centre has invested in an extensive indoor and outdoor WiFi network enabling interactive participation and on-line connectivity, no matter where a delegate or guest is located. Inaugurated two years ago, the network has proved invaluable in attracting traders to attend the Agricultural Society’s 4 main shows.

Wotton House in Surrey has unveiled plans for it’s £6 million renovation.
This is part of the wider £50 million investment programme in the De Vere country estate hotels portfolio. The property has just added 16 new junior suites, which makes their bedroom count now 127 in total. A transformation of the Evelyn Suite, Wotton’s largest event space is included in the renovation, giving it a fresh new feel inspired by the building’s architecture.

The Trafalgar Hotel in London was the first unbranded Hilton Hotel and has now opened under Hilton’s Curio Collection which has been a Hilton Brand since 2014.
The 131 bedroom hotel is reopening soon in August 2017 and will be the first in the brand to open in the UK as the Lincoln Palace London Hotel which was due to open late 2016 but has been delayed. The most exciting new opening in the hotel is the new grill restaurant, 1805, which is named after the year of the Battle of Trafalgar and will be a contemporary space – great for relaxed dining.
The Rooftop bar is still there but due to its high demand it is expanding and will now feature a glasshouse dining area for 14 delegates. This is currently booking up in the summer so will be in high demand!
