The main ballroom is a lovely room for dinners or a meeting for delegates wanting to be surrounded by luxury. (Which is divisible into three sections, all with natural daylight)The hotel boasts 4 areas to dine and dink plus there is a Guerlain Spa discretely situated on one of the higher floors for anyone looking to pamper themselves. For groups wanting a higher category of room type there is plenty to choose from. The Standard bedrooms are beautiful. Very spacious and fully equipped with all the gadgets and treats you would expect from a 5* hotel. The hotel is a good mix of corporate and leisure guests (you might even see a celebrity if you’re lucky) which creates a good atmosphere. I was lucky enough to spend a night in this beautiful and elegant hotel. As soon as you step inside of the hotel you are greeted by the timeless décor. The style throughout the hotel is classic and sophisticated with modern touches. The hotel can offer 7 meeting rooms which hold up to 175 theatre style. The main ballroom is a lovely room for dinners or a meeting for delegates wanting to be surrounded by luxury. (Which is divisible into three sections, all with natural daylight)The hotel boasts 4 areas to dine and dink plus there is a Guerlain Spa discretely situated on one of the higher floors for anyone looking to pamper themselves. For groups wanting a higher category of room type there is plenty to choose from. The Standard bedrooms are beautiful. Very spacious and fully equipped with all the gadgets and treats you would expect from a 5* hotel. The hotel is a good mix of corporate and leisure guests (you might even see a celebrity if you’re lucky) which creates a good atmosphere. This venue is more expensive than others due to the brand but certainly lovely
U3 Bahnhof
The U3 Bahnhof is one of the city’s hidden event spaces. Situated in the middle of downtown Berlin. The event space can be accessed by the underground station in the Potsdamer Platz area. Delegates will be left wondering where they are going but the discrete doorway leads you up to two main function areas within an underground tunnel, one of which is often used for day meetings (this area is a tunnel overhead of railway) and then an area for catering. The area for catering is vast and is prominently used for parties and product launches. This area has a bar and disco area which fantastic lighting and projection .The tunnel goes very far back and can hold hundreds to thousands of guests if required. This is a very different space, due to the size and layout of the space it is ideal for products lunches or parties (there are no time restrictions on finish time or noise levels)

The museum of communication offers an exhibition of different aspects of communications from the past, present and future. The impressive, richly ornamented building has been fully restored and modernised. The heart of the building is the light-flooded central atrium surrounded by a series of galleries. At night, light is emitted through the atrium roof and makes a suitable area for corporate dinners and receptions. The Atrium can hold up to 350 guests for dinner. This is a venue so there are no bedrooms onsite. Bedrooms would be sourced locally.

Hotel Esplanade once stood on Berlin’s busy transport and nightlife hub Potsdamer Platz. During its colourful and turbulent history it went from being one of the German capital’s most luxurious and celebrated hotels to a bombed-out ruin lost in the wastelands alongside the Berlin Wall. Sections of it still survives today, and parts of the hotel have now been moved to a new building in the new and modern Sony centre. This is where you can have meetings, lunches and dinners. The spaces vary a lot from traditional to modern function rooms, I would advise to view images of the space before booking as each room has individual character.

This hotel is a great example of a 4* deluxe. It’s very popular for the leisure market but has great meeting space and would be ideal for a group looking for excellent meeting space close to the main tourist attractions in the city. With 12 meeting rooms in total, all meeting space is on the 1st floor and very private. The largest meeting room can hold up to 200 cabaret back projection. This is a fantastic room as has a very large foyer area which has a wall of natural daylight with brilliant views of the city. All smaller rooms are dotted around this area so for a large group wanting smaller syndicate rooms and catering space close this area would be ideal. Delegate lunches can be served in restaurant if preferred or in the large foyer space. The restaurant is for delegates only (lunch or dinner) and has again fantastic views of the city with one whole wall of windows. The hotel offers a 4* service but is not star rated which is beneficial to some industries. The hotel’s sister property, 5* Waldorf Astoria is located 10 minutes taxi and can be used in conjunction with the Hilton Berlin and/or the Hampton by Hilton which is again 10 minutes taxi. The executive lounge is the largest in Berlin and is always bustling and the public area area/reception is lively and vibrant with guests. The hotel can offer 601 bedrooms (up to 350 for a group booking due to the demand from the leisure market).Any groups wishing to book the hotel must bear in mind that this hotel is popular with the leisure market and doesn’t necessarily have a corporate ‘feel’ but I felt this lends itself to a nice atmosphere within the hotel

The hotel is marketed for guests looking for a bedroom on the West side of the city (leisure and corporate groups). It has a large number of bedrooms but small meeting space so ideal for crew rooms or small groups needing overnight stay. There are 240 bedrooms and 3 meeting rooms. The hotel is 4 years old but looks and feels as if it opened last week as is keep very clean and fresh. The bedrooms are a nice size and again very well looked after.
