Old Swann And Minster Mill Go Even Greener!

Team building options at the venue range from fishing tuition on the river, duck racing along the river, treasure hunts, tennis or croquet!

A new addition to the hotel is their cottage offering luxurious accommodation and even a fire pit in its own private garden. They also plan to add a pool and ‘his and hers’ treatment rooms in early 2015.

The hotel is set to become the first hotel in the country to install an Archimedes Screw which is a device placed in the river to generate electricity.  The power generated from the screw will enable the whole Minster side of the property to be run from this power source which will be completed by September 2014.

“Much underrated Portugal has all the trappings of a pretty European country: cobbled villages beneath the shadows of medieval castles, sun-kissed beaches, a delectable culinary tradition and plenty of history to explore. Whether swimming in the turquoise waters of the Algarve, sipping a glass of port at a Porto cafe or listening to the melancholy lament of a fadista in Lisbon, Portugal’s understated beauty becomes obvious.”

New Venue Finding Initiative From Trinity And Venuefinder

New venue finding initiative from Trinity and venuefinder.com

venuefinder.com and Trinity Event Solutions have identified a need for a better approach to international venue finding and are sharing their resources to make the process quicker and easier for conference organisers and also deliver better quality leads to overseas venues.  The two companies have developed a results-led marketing strategy for international venues to put their information in front of the range of bookers that use the venuefinder.com website.

Firstly, the level of data will be increased to bring it in line with UK venues.  Secondly, there will be one point of contact for enquiries so that they can be qualified and given to the most appropriate venues to match the clients’ criteria.  This consultative approach fits with Trinity’s Destination Champion programme, where specialists give help and advice about the suitability and logistics of working in a city or region, because they understand the destination.  They understand the market and regularly carry out site visits and constantly work with the hotels, venues and destination management companies.  Thirdly, enquiries will be managed to help venues understand the priorities amongst the large volume of online and email traffic that is currently being generated.

Jacqui Kavanagh, MD of Trinity said, “This new approach will combine good buying and creativity for event organisers, whilst at the same time help hotels and venues convert enquiries to confirmed business more quickly.  www.venuefinder.com has long been established as the leading website for sourcing UK venues and we believe that this new initiative will make it the first-choice for organisers to find overseas venues as well.”

Publisher at venuefinder.com, Kate Hewitt added, “I’m really excited about this new combined initiative. Venuefinder.com has been working closely with Trinity Event Solutions for over 7 years now and we feel that our new approach really combines our shared company visions of providing excellent customer service and experience for both the users of the site and also the venues that we work closely with. Providing one point of contact and qualifying and managing the international leads should provide a much better service for our buyers and venues.”

New Industry Initiative Meetings Voice To Showcase At The Meetings Show

Stamford-based venue finding and event management agency, Trinity Event Solutions has launched a new industry initiative called Meetings Voice. The aim of Meetings Voice is to create a professional, collaborative and forward thinking environment where event organisers can interact by sharing experiences, learning and identifying best practice.

Meetings Voice will build on the success of Trinity’s corporate forums, which have provided education on current industry subjects and given clients the opportunity to network. Attendees’ feedback has indicated that they gain great benefit from the topics, discussions and networking and as a result Trinity appointed an Advisory Board to steer the path for the development of Meetings Voice. Since December they have researched potential speakers and venues for future meetings.

Jacqui Kavanagh, Managing Director of Trinity said, “I am really excited to be able to get our clients together to form a supportive, networking group that will help them in their day-to-day jobs and also drive the industry forward. This will be the voice of our clients and not the voice of Trinity – our aim is simply to facilitate Meetings Voice and bring it to life. As it develops we will deliver education on the most requested topics in the most effective way and give a strong return on investment on our clients’.

Kate Hewitt, Publisher, venuefinder.com added: “It has been fantastic to be a part of Meetings Voice from the start, with two successful events already under our belts, I believe that this initiative will only get stronger.”

Meetings Voice representatives will be located at the venuefinder.com stand D45 at the Meetings Show (8th – 10th July, Olympia).
