In the summer the Mandarin Oriental is set to open a 150 room property on the fashionable Rue Saint Honore in Paris

The Ora Exhibition and Convention Centre in Istanbul will open later in the year, featuring a 10,000m2 exhibition space with a capacity for up to 5,600 people.

W Marrakech and Residences is scheduled to open in 2013, located near the Medina. The resort will include 150 rooms and 68 villas, bar, 2 restaurants and a poolside bar. It will have 1000m2 of meeting space and leisure facilities as well as an 18 hole championship golf course.

Even though Budapest is already a popular location for corporate events, so far it could only host smaller events due to the lack of a larger conference facility. However, the newly opened Syma Conference Center is able to simultaneously provide conference and meeting rooms, exhibition space and seated catering for up to 5000 guests.

The Amarena Conference Centre in West Budapest is due to open in late 2011. The venue will have 3,000m2 of exhibition space and 13 meeting rooms.

The Ramada Encore Vienna is due to open in September 2011. The venue will have 118 rooms and six meeting rooms which can hold up to 250 delegates.

Hilton Worldwide has opened its first hotel in Jordan with the launch of the DoubleTree by Hilton Aqaba. The 173 room property is located in the central business district of the city and overlooks the Red Sea.

Hyatt Hotel has announced plans for a 330-room Hyatt Place to be built near Amsterdam. When the hotel is completed in mid 2013, it will be the first Hyatt Place Hotel to open in Europe. The hotel will be close to Amsterdam airport and 12 kms from the exhibition and congress centre, Amsterdam RAI.
