VUE Cinema's for your conference?

After visiting the Trinity offices,  VUE Cinema have shared 5 key facts with us!

1. VUE Cinema Flagship, Westfield White City is the busiest cinema in Europe; its footfall is comparable to Heathrow Airport terminal 5

2. VUE is the UK’s first cinema chain to offer Fibre enabled conferences,  these can take many forms:

a. One speaker presenting to many receive sites

b. One site presenting to multiple locations; questions coming back from the remote sites

c. Presentations from many sites to many sites

3. VUE Cinema Cambridge is the UK’s first cinema to be fitted entirely with leather reclining seating throughout all screens

4. At VUE Fulham Broadway we have partnered with Gfinity to host the first esports gaming arena in the UK. 84 tournaments over the season, which brings the esports fans an arena to call home, as well as laying down the ground work to start broadcasting the events nationally and into our network throughout the 10 countries that we operate in.

5. VUE are proud to unveil plans for a multi-million pound refurbishment of the iconic Leicester Square flagship that first opened in October 1938. The refurbishment will see it transformed into a new state-of-the-art world class entertainment venue.

A £6.6 million investment will see VUE West End become the only venue on the square to offer guests the choice of fully reclining leather seats; allowing film goers to choose their perfect view at a touch of a button and enjoy the ultimate big screen experience. And for customers who don’t choose the recliner, all other seats will be VIP and have been designed to be super spacious with extra room to stretch out and relax.

Additionally, VUE West End will be among the first on Leicester Square with pin-share Dolby Atmos* – sound fills the auditorium from all directions, including overhead, so you feel like you are really inside the action. With the big screen moment at the heart of everything we do, all screens will also benefit from market leading Sony 4k digital projection.

Another part of the refurbishment sees the installation of VUE’s next generation retail offer with two new hot food concessions – Square Pie and Pizzeria Maletti – as well as a complete redesign of the foyer and bar area.
