Named after the world’s first purpose build race track where the hotel is based, the Brooklands hotel takes great inspiration from its racetrack history. There are 131 bedrooms and suites, some of which have views over the Mercedes Benz race track. 


The hotel offers 9 meeting spaces which can be accessed via a private entrance complete with a dedicated kitchen and bar. The meeting rooms are all kitted out with state-of-the-art AV equipment and have plenty of natural daylight. Many of the spaces offer views over the race track.

A new multi-million pound event space called Magazine London is set to open in summer 2019.

Construction of the venue is due to start in December and is located in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula on the riverbank with views of Canary Wharf and have capacity for 3,000 people.

The venue’s indoor space, will have an adjoining ‘Showground’ – a landscaped environment on the banks of the Thames with a capacity of 7,000 and catering will be supplied by the award-winning Moving Venue. Due to its location Magazine London, will benefit from excellent transport links and is only eight minutes travel time from central London.

A new restaurant has been unveiled at Tewkesbury Park, marking the final piece in the puzzle of a £10m, four-year redevelopment at the hotel on the edge of the Cotswolds.


Mint is the new destination restaurant at the family-run hotel which has recently completed an extensive four-year renovation costing nearly £10m, with the addition of nine suites, two new spa rooms, two meeting rooms, an orangery, a cocktail lounge and the Cotswolds suite, an events suite – complete with a wood-fired pizza oven and terrace.


All other communal areas and leisure facilities have also been completely refurbished.

Dorchester Collection’s Milanese property, Hotel Principe di Savoia has renovated its event spaces. Dominating the Piazza della Repubblica in Milan, the landmark neo-classical building has been the natural home for international travellers and cosmopolitan society since the 1920s. The rerfurb of the events spaces has seen an update of the banqueting rooms, which will see a new design with softer fabrics, colours and the latest technology. Guests can choose from 301 rooms at the hotel, 44 of which are suites. The Principe has a total of 11 exclusive events spaces, which can be combined upon request, and the largest meeting space of any five-star hotel in Milan, accommodating up to 1000 guests across 1112 sqm.

London’s first Pan Pacific hotel is set to open at the City’s One Bishopsgate Plaza in 2020, this will be the first for the Pan Pacific group in the UK.

The 43-storey development will comprise 160 luxury apartments and the 237-bedroom, five-star hotel.


The hotel will feature a meeting and events space, including a double-height ballroom, which will accommodate a banquet for up to 370 guests. The property is also set to have a fourth-floor pool, spa and fitness centre.


Pan Pacific is one of two hotel brands owned by Singaporean property group UOL. Pan Pacific Hotels Group has a portfolio of nearly 40 upscale hotels, resorts and serviced suites in Asia Pacific and North America.

The first Edition Hotel in the Middle East, with 198 rooms and suites as well as 57 exclusive residences is due to open in November

Located along a marina, the Abu Dhabi Edition is the first from the brand to open in the Middle East and is set on Al Bateen peninsula, 20 minutes from the beaches of Saadiyat.


The building also includes a terrace, lounge along with three floors of space in which to socialise including a rooftop garden bar. For events, the hotel’s forum, a 654 sqm grand ballroom has seating for 450 guests. The private event space also houses a pre-function area with two bridal suites and a Majlis as well as an executive boardroom, meeting rooms and business centre.

Kensington Roof Gardens, one of Londons best known party venues,  is set to re-open as a restaurant or members club by 2020, according to its landlord.

The popular Roof Gardens, famous for its flamingos, had been welcoming guests since 1933 but was closed in January by its operator Virgin Group.


A shortlist of new operators is being drawn up, with Cushman & Wakefield hoping to name a successful bidder early next year with a view to re-opening in late 2019 or early 2020.


The site at 99 Kensington High Street consists of the sixth & seventh floors of the former Derry & Toms store. It includes the Babylon restaurant, a nightclub and bar housed in an art-deco former tea pavilion and three distinct gardens: the Tudor courtyard, the Spanish garden and the English woodland.
