Central Hall Westminster recently attended a mini-expo here at Trinity and shared 5 interesting facts about what the venue has to offer:


  • The Central Hall Westminster team will be living up to their CSR promise on the 27th October, with all sales and events team participating in the annual CHW charity day. This year the whole team will be attending the Notting Hill Methodist Church on Lancaster Road that became refuge and home to the Grenfell survivors in June of this year. The day will be dedicated to painting and rejuvenating the space that became the epicentre to the aid effort.

The 96-room Admiralty Arch Waldorf Astoria London – the British capital’s first hotel under the Hilton luxury brand – will be built in the iconic Admiralty Arch building, which once housed the offices of James Bond creator Ian Fleming. The hotel, scheduled to open in 2022, will have three restaurants, a spa and a rooftop bar offering  sweeping views across London’s skyline. The meeting space has yet to be defined. The historic building – which opened in 1912 and served as admiralty offices, residences of senior naval officers and Ian Fleming’s offices – was designed by Aston Webb, who also designed Buckingham Palace’s facade.

Marriott International’s W lifestyle brand will occupy adjacent 19th century buildings in Rome. The redeveloped property is slated to open in 2021. The 159-room W Rome will be in the city’s Via Veneto district near the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti. The buildings were originally residences and subsequently served as a hotel, offices and government ministries.

The Radisson RED Cape Town has opened its doors in the V&A Waterfront’s newly revamped Silo District. Radisson RED’s bold, inspirational design and philosophy is set to shake-up South Africa’s staid and traditional hotel scene.  “Located in Silo Six, right in the heart of the bustling Waterfront, and amidst the city’s vibrant nightlife, visiting locals and guests will experience Instagram-worthy views of both the city’s bustling harbor and its idyllic mountains.”

The Rezidor Hotel Group has signed the first Radisson RED in Riga, Latvia, it will be located on Elizabates iela, in the heart of the city, and is expected to open its doors by 2020.  The hotel will be situated nearby to the railway station, and just ten kilometres from the largest international airport in the Baltic States.

The Montague on the Gardens has announced the return of its popular Ski Lodge experience which serves up an authentic slice of the Alps in Bloomsbury.


From Thursday November 16th until January 20th, the luxury hotel’s outdoor wood deck will transform into a festive themed alpine Ski Lodge, complete with a cosy log cabin, offering Londoners and visitors to the capital a cosy “après ski” experience in the heart of the city. 


The Montague’s deck area will feature pine trees, twinkling lights, festive snowmen, ski racks and falling snow. Visitors can select from a range of après ski favourites including homemade flavoured schnapps and vodkas, such as candy cane and toffee, winter warmers like mulled wine, spiced cider and hot ‘choctails’.

Carlson Rezidor have announced The Radisson Blu Hotel, Venice San Marco will open in late 2019.

The hotel will be located in the inner part of Venice’s San Marco district, close to Saint Mark’s Square and the luxury shopping district. The venue will have 50 bedrooms and suites many benefiting from views of the famous canal, a restaurant with outdoor terrace dining, a lounge bar and a fitness room will also be present.

Designed to reflect the 24/7 energy of both the W brand and the British capital, the new bar will feature subtle, abstract references to London’s fashion, music and design influences. The areas will feature a large gold veil, which will have an in-built illumination to pulse to the beat of music.
