Bateaux Mouches New Summer Terrace

The Bateaux Mouches company unveils its brand-new chic summer terrace (180 m²): Monsieur Mouche. The bartenders, recognisable by their blue and white striped tops, invite you to discover a mouth-watering cocktail drinks menu and an irresistible selection of snacks. Exclusive live music and DJ sets provide entertainment for your evening functions.

The terrace is available for full private hire and can host 200 people on board for an exceptional cocktail party. At the weekend, depending on the weather, you can enjoy a delicious brunch of fresh products, accompanied by a jazz band.

National Conference Centre – 5 Fast Facts

The National Conference Centre, at the National Motorcycle Museum just off the NEC and Birmingham Airport, recently attended one of our Mini-Expos here at Trinity Event Solutions.

While here, they updated us on 5 key facts on their venue:

Drinks receptions & dinners can be taken within the museum halls. The National Motorcycle Museum is home to the world biggest collection of British bikes.
Shuttle services can be included between the venue & the hotels they own; The Best Western plus Windmill Village Hotel and Best Western plus Manor Hotel.
There is a team building field on site. They can offer a BBQ to any clients wanting to use outdoor space or looking for an alternative dining experience.
All of the ground floor rooms lead into one another and can accommodate shell scheme exhibition stands and allow vehicular access.
50% of staff have 10 years or more service. They understand the individual needs of regular guests and enjoy welcoming them back!

New Ibis Styles Hotel To Open In Glasgow

ibis Styles Glasgow Centre West will open in summer 2018. The hotel which will be located on Waterloo Street, the property – currently disused offices, will undergo major redevelopment, will have 137 bedrooms and a restaurant and bar.

The hotel will be the second ibis Styles property for AccorHotels, the first being ibis Styles Glasgow Centre George Square.

The Café Richelieu

This elegant and refined cafe, within the world’s biggest museum, now has an offer for groups of a minimum of 20 people! In summer, the Café Richelieu opens its terrace offering wonderful views of the Louvre’s Cour Napoléon and the iconic pyramid.

The restaurant has 2 rooms available for private hire for 30 and 40 people respectively. The aperitif can be served on the terrace if the weather permits. For a personalized event, tailor-made options are also available to include: care of groups on arrival at the Museum, admission ticket, fast-track entry, audio guides or tour guides, cocktails and coffee breaks.

Heythrop Park Resort Is Growing!

Heythrop Park Resort is opening ‘The Archery Suite On The Lawns’, a fixed marquee which is due for completion at the end of July 2017. The Archery Suite will be open all year round for both banqueting and conferences for 500 people. The marquee will have fixed walls and will include WiFi, heating and access to its own dedicated car park.

The hotel is also completing a refurbishment of their Terrace, making it look bigger, lighter, fresher and more elegant.

Centennial Hotel Tallin Opening On 1St September

This soon-to-be-opened hotel with 81 rooms is located in Tallinn city centre. The hotel is in Nordic minimalist style and also offers 3 meeting rooms. Hotel’s artistic design reflects Estonia’s 100th anniversary which is in year 2018.

A new 4-star hotel in the centre of Tallinn is opening at the beginning of September. It is located 5-10 minutes walk from the Old Town. The interior is Nordic minimalist and Estonia’s centennial anniversary is reflected in the artistic design of the hotel featuring the main periods in the history of Estonia over the last 100 years.

The Centennial has three conference and banqueting rooms with natural daylight and capacity for 25-75 delegates. There are 81 bedrooms and free high-speed WI-FI throughout the hotel and a restaurant 100 guests

Macdonald Forest Hills Makeover

Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel and Spa in Aberfoyle has gone under a £3.5 million refurbishment seeing bedrooms, cocktail bar, piano lounge, restaurants and reception revamped. The renovation comes after an extension of the hotels spa in 2007.

The venue is just 40 minutes from Glasgow and an hour from Edinburgh, so a popular choice for conferences and events.

Venues Expands In Manchester!

Etc. Venues are expanding their portfolio of venues to Manchester city centre. The new purpose-built, 20,000 sq.ft space will be opening in October 2017 on Portland Street so within easy walking distance to Piccadilly train station.

The venue will consist of 15 meeting rooms with space to fit up to 300 delegates in a theatre style layout as well as exhibition/breakout spaces.

There will also be an option for exclusive use with a private entrance, which will be great for events requiring privacy.

Marriott International Open First Ac Hotel In Germany

Marriott International has opened its first AC Hotel in Germany. Its is the brands first hotel in Germany, but joins more than 100 across the world.

After a recent refurbishment the historic building located by the Mainz Central Station has been transformed into a 58 bedroom hotel featuring the Adam and Eve restaurant and bar with a French – style bistro menu, two meeting rooms and a fitness suite.
