
Room Mate Hotels Opens New Hotel In Barcelona




Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Hilton Edinburgh Carlton, following a £17m revamp.
The hotel is owned and operated by Amaris Hospitality and is part of their 73-hotel portfolio across the UK and Ireland. Featuring 211 rooms, the venue also has seven meeting spaces accommodating up to 200 delegates.
Hilton Edinburgh Carlton is home to a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill, offering local produce and a classic dining menu, as well as bespoke dining options for private events along with dedicated breakout spaces.





The Langridge Stand, which enjoys views across the city officially opened on the 20th of July. It was built to accommodate the racing business however it is now open for conference and events, as the race course aims to scale up its non-race day activity.
The main space within the new stand (the Royal Crescent suite) was designed by D5 architects and holds a maximum capacity of 300 in theatre style. The Royal Crescent suite also has a private roof garden which overlooks the racecourse finishing line which could also be used as a breakout space. There are also 9 further meeting spaces available in the Kelston hospitality stand.
The race course are hoping to double the number of non-race day events over the next three years, and has real focus on delivering this.
