This deal will establish IHG as the leading luxury hotel operator in the UK, taking it to more than 2k rooms in this valuable, fast growing segment.  It will expand the presence for the InterContinental brand, and enable IHG to launch its leading luxury boutique brand, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in the UK, adding multiple hotels for the brand in prime locations in major city centres, including London, Manchester and Edinburgh.  This marks an important step in IHG’s plans to take the brand global, building on the first signings for Asia and China last year, and will act as a catalyst for Kimpton’s growth in Europe. The hotels they are expecting to acquire are currently operating under the Principle Hotels and De Vere Hotels brand.

Maritim are the largest privately owned hotel chain in Germany with 34 hotels all over the country.  Their 4 star hotels are all very individual hotels, each reflecting the city and location where they are in.  And in 2020 they will be opening the largest hotel in Amsterdam.

The 153-room hotel Hotel St. George opened on 2 May in a building that was once a newspaper printing house – designed by Onni Tarjanne and completed in 1840.

Now, the seven-story building – also once home to the Finnish Literature Society – has been reinvented and connected to an adjacent five-story structure.

It includes three contemporary food and drink outlets, spa, individually decorated rooms and suites, and several public spaces which host an impressive art collection of over 300 pieces, including a prominent dragon sculpture by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei.

The hotel, which includes a street-facing gallery and restaurant, has three meeting spaces for between eight and 12 people.

The Drisco Hotel will start welcoming guests in the heart of Tel Aviv’s vibrant American Colony neighborhood. The property contains 37 bedrooms and 5 suites, with most featuring connecting and adjacent units to accommodate groups.

Guests can also opt for the historic Villa Drisco, including five rooms and the Norton Suite, complete with a private terrace overlooking the hotel’s inner piazza and garden.

The Drisco Bar will offer gastronomic small bites, innovative and classic cocktails, premium wines and a gourmet selection of teas.

At Zada, the hotel’s restaurant, a contemporary take on Ottoman cuisine will be served, focusing on fresh fish and seafood, selected meats and local vegetables.

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Fort Lauderdale, developed by Fort Partners, breaks ground today to become the newest iconic global destination for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. The development will offer unmatched access to a lifestyle of leading amenities, services and design and will include 90 Private Residences and 130 guest rooms. 

Positioned along the Atlantic Ocean and the beaches of Fort Lauderdale, the 22-storey hotel will combine luxury and legendary Four Seasons service for visitors and residents alike. The hotel boasts an oceanfront terrace on the third floor with dual pool experiences and luxury cabanas, a world-class Four Seasons spa, fitness centre and a Kids for All Seasons program for children. In addition, a signature all-day restaurant with interior and alfresco seating resides on the oceanfront terrace with a pool bar, lounge and an ocean-view outdoor café.

Hyatt Hotels are to open the first Grand Hyatt hotel in Greece, Grand Hyatt Athens, the hotel is due to open in quarter three of 2018.

The 310-room hotel will be centrally located on Syngrou Avenue in Athens’ Koukaki district, close to golf courses, restaurants and within walking distance of Filopappos Hill.

The Grand Hyatt Athens will be uniquely designed to reflect its Greek culture with dramatic architecture and innovative design and will feature a spectacular rooftop bar and restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a stunning view of the Acropolis.

The hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation and will mark the second Hyatt hotel in Greece – joining its sister property Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki.

Delta Hotels, part of Marriott International, has launched Delta Hotels by Marriott Frankfurt Offenbach, this marks the European debut of the hotel brand. The opening is a significant landmark in the global rollout of the highly regarded Delta Hotels portfolio – one of the company’s fastest growing brands.
