
Epic Apart Hotel Set To Complete £1M Expansion In Liverpool




Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been appointed to manage a new hotel located on Grosvenor Square in London’s prestigious Mayfair. Set to be housed in the iconic building which is currently the US embassy, the hotel will be the second Rosewood property in London.
The hotel will offer 137 spacious guestrooms and suites, a variety of dining and entertainment spaces, including five gourmet restaurants, a signature spa, retail spaces and a ballroom which will accommodate up to 1000 guests.

The hotel boasts of 199 bedrooms and suites, The Wolff Grill, with its own private dining area which will serve first class dining and offers 7 meeting spaces accommodating up to 250 guests.

Luxury boutique hotel The Cookie Jar is set to open in a former convent overlooking Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. The £1m investment project will transform former Convent of Mercy and will be led by Deborah Cook, the wife of Robert Barclay Cook, the former chief executive of Malmaison, Hotel du Vin and De Vere Hotels.
The Cookie Jar will open at the end of September.

The 131-bedroom Trafalgar St. James London hotel has joined the Curio Collection by Hilton following a full refurbishment, making it the first Curio hotel in the UK. The 129-bedroom Lincoln Plaza London hotel, expected to open in late 2016, was slated to be the UK’s first Curio, however the opening has been delayed.
The hotel now features bedrooms with iconic wall art celebrating London’s music idols, all day Mediterranean dining at the Trafalgar Dining Rooms, and an underground lounge called Biblio.
The hotel’s rooftop bar is due to open in October, complete with canopy-covered seating, the space will feature an open fireplace, heaters and blankets during the cooler months. Room – a glass-enclosed, 14-cover private dining room – will also be available for hire.

Located in London’s Whitechapel the hotel will feature 80 bedrooms and reflect the venues heritage and location with exposed brickwork, open lobby spaces and stunning views of London’s skyline. Marco Pierre White’s Mr White’s English Chophouse will provide the F&B offering, along with the Cereal Grind breakfast bar in the lobby.

Over in the US, the Hoxton will be located in Chicago and feature a rooftop pool, restaurant and as the London property the Apartment meeting and events space.
The new venues will, will join sister properties in London (Shoreditch and Holburn) and Amsterdam. The Paris Hoxton is due to launch later this month with an opening set later in the year for New York, LA and Southwalk in South London.

It will be the groups forth hotel overall and is due to open during the summer of 2019.

There are 5 meeting rooms available with The Moneypenny Suite, offering space for up to 150 delegates and The Court Room up to 550 theatre style.
Aptly named, the Barristers restaurant has also recently opened its doors offering premium British seasonal menus. Later this summer the Rooftop Gardens will be open for al fresco dining and exclusive hire corporate bookings, the gardens will be filled with beautiful seasonal flowers and botanical herbs.
