It has been announced that the Burnham Beeches hotel near Slough will have the South of England’s first Laura Ashley The Tea Room. This is following in the success of the Laura Ashley The Tea Room in Solihull.


Guests can expect all the British afternoon tea classics with prices starting from £24 per person. The Tea Room will be decorated in signature Laura Ashley style. The opening of The Tea Room signals the first stages in the hotel rebranding to become a part of the Laura Ashley Hotels portfolio and in early 2019 the hotel will begin its refurbishment to bring the 82 bedroom property in line with the brand.

Hotel Indigo London, has unveiled its new rooftop space for corporate and private hire. Perched nine storeys above Leicester Square, the space can accommodate up to 140 for conferences and private functions.

Large windows showcase a panorama of London’s skyline, with the outside terrace also open for guests to enjoy views of The Shard, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Nelson’s Column, the London Eye and the Gherkin.

The rooftop bar and restaurant can be hired in its entirety or, for more intimate events, the private dining room can be booked separately. It can accommodate 75 for dinner and up to 140 for a standing reception.

The private dining room can seat up to 30 and can hold up to 50 for a standing reception.

The hotel has a dedicated events team and the head chef can prepare bespoke lunch and dinner menus for any occasion.

Cowshed Bar & Restaurant- they are launching their new Cowshed Bar & Restaurant this October at Tewin Bury Farm which will work as an overflow restaurant to Williams Bar and Restaurant. It will seat 70 and serve breakfast and afternoon tea with also the option of allowing conference guests to use the facilities for lunch. The building, originally the Old cowshed at the farm is on two floors and will have a life sized cow installation and suitably themed furniture and lighting.

The View is situated on the Golf Course opposite the entrance of Tewin Bury Farm Hotel and has a fantastic bar and kitchen serving food and drinks from breakfast through to evening meals.  There are also fantastic views of the golf course and surrounding areas. The largest conference room is the  Fairway Suite which can accommodate up to 120 delegates and the Oak Room can accommodate 14 Boardroom style.  They can also offer 7 Bedrooms, rates are offered at £28.00 DDR and rooms are £65 B&B single occupancy/£75 double occupancy

Mottram Hall hotel in Cheshire is to undergo a £10m refurbishment following its acquisition by spa resort group Champneys and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

Built in 1721, Mottram Hall is set within a 270-acre estate and was transformed from a private residence to a hotel in 1940 and owned by the De Vere group from the mid-1970s to 2014.


The acquisition marks Champneys first resort inthe north of the England, adding to its spa resort locations at Forest Mere, Hampshire; Henlow, Bedfordshire; Springs, Leicestershire; and Tring, Hertfordshire. 


The redevelopment of Mottram Hall will include a £5m redesign of the hotel’s spa facilities involving the addition of 18 treatment rooms, a new 20m swimming pool. There will also be the addition of 30 bedrooms to the current 120, new conference facilities and an extension to the club house on the championship golf course.

Automotive events specialist Millbrook Venues has opened a new building close to its high speed circuit, hill route and off-road tracks.

The new venue near Milton Keynes can hold up to 200 delegates in a brand new property, which is being described as a “blank-canvas solution for events of all types.”

Millbrook is a popular location for vehicle-based events, offering a combination of several venues, catering and private test tracks,

It already has venues ‘Cubo’ (up to 30 delegates) and Pod (up to 80 delegates) Concepts 1 and 2 (up to 350 and 1,000 delegates, respectively).

Its 864sqm space can be split into two, using a built-in folding partition. The also has several other rooms for operations and break-out sessions, and direct access to the test tracks.

Hyatt Place London City/East will be a 280-room hotel located on Whitechapel Road in Aldgate and is set to open in 2020. Hyatt Place London City/East will be the third Hyatt Place hotel in Greater London, joining Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport and Hyatt Place West London/Hayes.


The hotel will feature a ninth-floor lounge and terrace providing scenic views across London, a flexible meeting room concept, further lobby area, inner courtyard, gym, and a grab-and-go food market.
