Epic Apart Hotel is set to complete a £1 million expansion at its Duke Street property by the end of September. The Victorian building, which originally boasted 17 modern apartments, has increased in size giving Epic’s third property in the city seven additional apartments, this latest development is the next step in the brands growth plans within the heart of Liverpool.

Malmaison Hotel du Vin and Fresh Lime Developments have announced that they are to develop a brand new Malmaison hotel on the prime site of Fresh Lime’s hotel and apartment scheme in Bournemouth.


The new Malmaison will offer over 100 stylish bedrooms and stunning suites, the Chez Mal Bar and Brasserie and a rooftop bar and terrace overlooking the Bournemouth sea front.


The hotel will also include the brand’s meeting and events concept, ‘Work + Play’, combining all the benefits of Malmaison’s classic style with high tech systems, private meeting pods and flexible pricing.


Demolition of the site in Bath Road is due to begin soon and building will commence in early 2018 with the development expected to take approximately 2 years.

To complete this development is a 160 bedroom hotel which has been announced as a Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel will be located on Town Bridge overlooking the River Nene and Peterborough Cathedral and within easy walking distance to Peterborough train station which has direct links taking less than an hour to London Kings Cross.
Within the property guests will find a restaurant, meeting rooms, fitness centre and a rooftop bar on the ninth floor.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been appointed to manage a new hotel located on Grosvenor Square in London’s prestigious Mayfair. Set to be housed in the iconic building which is currently the US embassy, the hotel will be the second Rosewood property in London.

The hotel will offer 137 spacious guestrooms and suites, a variety of dining and entertainment spaces, including five gourmet restaurants, a signature spa, retail spaces and a ballroom which will accommodate up to 1000 guests.

Twenty Grosvenor Square will offer 37 luxurious dwellings in the heart of Mayfair and will offer many of the amenities and services that guests enjoy in Four Seasons hotels around the world.

Luxury boutique hotel The Cookie Jar is set to open in a former convent overlooking Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. The £1m investment project will transform former Convent of Mercy and will be led by Deborah Cook, the wife of Robert Barclay Cook, the former chief executive of Malmaison, Hotel du Vin and De Vere Hotels.


The Cookie Jar will open at the end of September.

Harbour Hotels have revealed the final details of the new Southampton venue, which in its last stages at Ocean Village and is due to open its doors in October.

The £25 million super yacht inspired hotel will have 85 bedrooms, the groups signature and award winning restaurant ‘The Jetty’ with an outdoor terrace for guests to take in the marina views, a destination bar, kitchen and club ‘HarBar on 6th’, events space for up to 250 guests and the HarSpa health and wellness facility.
