£7m has recently been spent on the 1830s property, which is set in 30 acres near Chesham. The hotel now has a 1838 restaurant and bar with an open kitchen. It has also introduced the first Burr & Co. coffee shop in the De Vere group.
An additional 31 bedrooms have been created in the mansion from meeting rooms and offices. This means that there are now four meeting spaces in the main house, the largest of which is the Cavendish Suite which holds 240 people in theatre-style. There are also l 28 meeting rooms in the Cormorant and Mews buildings, next to the mansion house.

The Birmingham Conference and Events Centre (BCEC) has now opened, located within central Birmingham it has a great location for conference and events, located just minutes from Birmingham New Street station. The venue boasts over 2000 sqm. of space and is situated across two floors within the building, offering 20 meeting rooms with space for up to 1,450 delegates. There are also six banqueting suites within the venue that can host dinners or conferences for up to 750 guests; so the venue can certainly cater for larger numbers within central Birmingham.
The newest and most luxurious addition to the Sir family: Sir Joan Ibiza opens reservations to the public on Friday 26th May. Offering view of the marina and Old Town this boutique hotel is designed to make you feel like you are on the ultimate yacht.
