The venue itself is a striking 18th century former family mansion surrounded by landscaped gardens and 27 holes of golfing. There are 152 bedrooms that are decorated in-keeping with the traditional atmosphere of the façade and lobby area. There is a total of 9 meeting rooms on site, with capacities ranging from 10 delegates in the Perkins Suite, all the way up to 350 delegates in the Oulton Suite. Oulton Hall would be a fantastic option for delegates who are looking for a countryside location with close proximity to a major city .The bedrooms are in various stages of refurbishment, so it may be worth checking that VIP’s and other important delegates are placed in fully refurbished rooms.

Due to the age of the building there are no lifts and therefore the majority of the venue is not wheelchair accessible. The venue does however have a planning application in progress to rectify this.

There are three meeting spaces all with natural daylight, air conditioning and integrated electronically branded welcome points. Technology is key at Horizon Leeds, and the rooms are full of useful tools to help meetings run as smoothly as possible, including smart boards and video conferencing facilities. In addition to this, the venue has quirky additional perks, like lockable trays with chargers in, so delegates can leave their devices charging without worry.
