The Barceló Hotel Group has announced its two hotels in Morocco, located in Tánger and Agadir.
The hotel in Tánger has 138 rooms and is just a ten-minute walk from the historic centre and the property in Agadir, guests will find a fun resort located close to the popular promenade which runs along the coast.
The Tánger hotel also lends itself to business guests with MICE facilities.
New Opening – Residence Inn By Marriott London Kensington
Marriott International has announced the opening of Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington, the largest property in the brand’s European portfolio. The hotel is located on Warwick Road in Earls Court and is home to 319 guestrooms and suites, some of which have private terraces offering view across the city.
Guests can also take in the London skyline from the hotel’s eighth floor terrace, which will also be available to hire as an events space.
Travelodge To Open 3 London Hotels
Travelodge will celebrate 30 years of trading in the Capital with three London hotel openings.
The new hotels are located in Acton, Bromley and Dagenham and all the properties have been styled in Travelodge’s contemporary brand design.
Next month the hotel chain is opening its new flagship hotel, London City Travelodge – the company’s largest new build development to date. The 395-room hotel is located on Middlesex Street, close to Liverpool Street Station. These four new Travelodge hotels boost the Travelodge portfolio to 565 properties and 75 hotels in London.
Expo Centre To Be Built In Las Vegas
A new 32,500sqm Expo Centre on the World Market Centre Las Vegas campus is set for construction after the owners of World Market Centre announced a partnership with the city of Las Vegas
The building will provide high tech exhibition and meeting space in the downtown area for corporate and private events, meetings and tradeshows.
It will also be used for the Las Vegas Market furniture, gift and home décor trade events that attract around 100,000 attendees annually.
The Expo Centre is expected to cost approximately $76 million (£56m) of which the city of Las Vegas will contribute $30m (£22m). Construction is set to begin within 18 months and will take about 18 months to complete.
New Icc Convention Centre In Wales
The brand new ICC Convention Centre will be opening in June 2019 in Newport, Wales. This exciting new venue will be able to host up to an incredible 5000 delegates with facilities including a 1500 seat auditorium and 2000 car park spaces. There is also a choice of 15 breakout and networking spaces. The venue also has a 4000 sq.m pillar free exhibition space.

Leake Street Arches, A New London Venue
Leake Street Arches is a new destination venue with independent bars, restaurants, urban art and entertainment spaces close to Waterloo Station. It has been made from eight former railway arches next to the Graffiti Tunnel made famous by Banksy in 2008. There are a collection of independent restaurants and bars with a state-of-the-art lighting system
26 Leake Street is make up of four separate arches and is available for hire as a blank canvass venue for up to 1,200 people.
First Marriott Hotel Opens In Northern Ireland
American hotel firm Marriott has opened its first venue in Northern Ireland with the launch of a €30 million AC Hotel at Belfast’s City Quays.
As reported by The Irish Times, the 188-bedroom, four-star hotel also features the first restaurant operated in Ireland by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and is the latest phase of an £80 million investment programme by Belfast Harbour that also involves the development of a number of new offices, cafés, restaurants and waterside walkways.
The Montcalm Hotel Group Opens The Chilworth In Paddington
The Montcalm Hotel Group has opened its latest property, The Chilworth, a boutique townhouse hotel in Paddington. The property is set in a refurbished Georgian townhouse, close to Paddington train station and Hyde Park, boasts of 124 bedrooms with a blend of classical features and contemporary design.
The Chilworth’s compact urban spa features a jacuzzi, gym, steam room and an extensive range of treatments as well as a yoga suite and outdoor yoga classes (weather permitting) in nearby Hyde Park.
The Grange Hotel, Cumbria Bought By Fairtree
The Grange Hotel in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, has been sold to the Fairtree Hospitality Real Estate Private Equity Fund for £4.5m.
The property features 55 en-suite bedrooms, five lounges and conferencing facilities for up to 300 delegates.
The acquisition by Fairtree represents its eighth investment in the UK hospitality market. The Fairtree Fund already owns seven further hotels including Borrowdale Gates Hotel, Grange-in-Borrowdale and a number of hotels in the south-west.
Riu Plaza Espana Hotel, Madrid, Opening June 2019
The Riu Plaza will open next Summer as a 4* hotel. It is located on the Grand Via in the heart of the city centre of Madrid, in what was the Edificio España” building. The transfer from the airport is about 30 minutes and the hotel 20 metres from the Plaza España underground station.
Two floors of the hotel have been designed for 18 conference rooms, with flexible walls, the largest room has capacity for 800 people in theatre style.
This hotel will have 589 bedrooms and suites, several bars and restaurants. The top floors will be one of the hotel’s greatest attractions with a sky bar, roof terrace and swimming pool which have panoramic views of the city.
