Hard Rock Hotel London have revealed a first look inside the new hotel ahead of its opening in Spring 2019.
The hotel is located in what used to be the Cumberland Hotel, on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane, and will have around 1,000 rooms and suites. There will be two bars and a lively Hard Rock Cafe, which will have 370 seats and combine and food and drink with live events celebrating local and international talent. The lobby will feature the world famous Rock Shop, with Hard Rock’s merchandise.
Each Hard Rock Hotel is host to an extensive memorabilia collection, London will pay tribute to Jimi Hendrix, Diana Ross, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and Madonna, along with top contemporary artists.

Hotel de Berri, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to the Starwood group is due to open 5 July 2018. The hotel is close to the Champs Elysees and in a private park, which is very rare in the centre of Paris.

New Opening: Savage Garden at the DoubleTree Tower Hill
A new rooftop bar has opened on the 12th floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London. Savage Garden is the replacement for SkyLounge. It is theme is urban design, using stone, metal and glass, with a graffiti wall and bright furnishings. The Wildside terrace has views of the city, overlooking Tower Bridge and The Gherkin. There is a retractable roof, so the bar can be used all the year round.
The all-day food menu ranges from bar snacks to savage feasting and the drinks are just as unsual as the food.
Dolce Sitges, which was the first hotel in Spain to be specifically designed for the MICE market, continues to expand and has now introduced a new singular modular room with a capacity of up to 360 people.
The new Mediterrani room has flexible theatre-style set-up, with modern décor and floor-to- ceiling windows for plenty of natural light. The versatile space consists of three modular rooms (Syrah, Parellada and Samsó), which can be used together or separately, joining them in two or three-in-one, according to guests’ needs. The 4 star Dom Pedro Marina hotel, In the centre of Vilamoura and 25 km from Faro airport, has reopened after the refurbishment of all rooms, suites and common areas.
The hotel has six meeting rooms, the largest taking 150 participants in theatre-style. Larger events can be held at the Dom Pedro Forum Congress Center which is located in an independent building, next to the Dom Pedro Vilamoura hotel, and very close to the Dom Pedro Marina hotel. Hotel group IHG adds 13 luxury and upscale hotels to their UK portfolio
This deal will establish IHG as the leading luxury hotel operator in the UK, taking it to more than 2k rooms in this valuable, fast growing segment. It will expand the presence for the InterContinental brand, and enable IHG to launch its leading luxury boutique brand, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in the UK, adding multiple hotels for the brand in prime locations in major city centres, including London, Manchester and Edinburgh. This marks an important step in IHG’s plans to take the brand global, building on the first signings for Asia and China last year, and will act as a catalyst for Kimpton’s growth in Europe. The hotels they are expecting to acquire are currently operating under the Principle Hotels and De Vere Hotels brand.
