The University of Sheffield are delighted to announce the opening of the new £81m Diamond Building as part of the universities portfolio of conference & event facilities within the city.

Being located between the mountains and the lake would also make a wide variety of physical activities possible. In particular Chillon Castle was fantastic, as spaces can be privatised for dinners, receptions and dances, while the castle has been built on a small island on Lake Geneva. I would highly recommend the destination to MICE bookers for anyone looking for either a small get-away meeting, a large conference, or something in between!

Frasers hospitality have opened in Brighton, Cheltenham, Exeter & Bristol
Frasers hospitality the hospitality arm of Frasers Centrepoint Limited have recently expanded and have opened 4 new hotels in Brighton, Cheltenham, Exeter and Bristol off the back of their recent purchase of Malmaison and Hotel du Vin.
There are no plans into rebranding the hotels currently they will remain trading as the Avon Gorge Hotel Bristol, Magdalen Chapter Hotel Exeter, Montpellier Chapter Hotel Cheltenham and Hotel Seattle Brighton but will be part of the larger family.
They are stylish and iconic hotels in their own cities. The hotels are not currently on the Malmaison/Hotel Du Vin websites but can be booked through their own websites, the hotels will continue to operate under their existing names until 2016 when development plans will be revealed for each of the hotels.
