
Work Begins On The New Times Hotel In Liverpool




Over in the US, the Hoxton will be located in Chicago and feature a rooftop pool, restaurant and as the London property the Apartment meeting and events space.
The new venues will, will join sister properties in London (Shoreditch and Holburn) and Amsterdam. The Paris Hoxton is due to launch later this month with an opening set later in the year for New York, LA and Southwalk in South London.
The venue offers conference facilities for 2-200 delegates for private meetings, meetings and special events. As the hotel now has a partnership with The School of Economic Science, located next door, they are able to provide The McLaren Hall which can comfortably accommodate up to 100 seated guests and a smaller boardroom for up to 40 delegates, all catering is provided by the Mandeville with lunch served in their Reform Social & Grill Restaurant.

The hotel boasts of 142 rooms and suites, with the 5th floor bedrooms all individually designed by Christian Lacroix, the Reform Social & Grill all day dining venue which also serves Afternoon Tea and also bar which has an extensive cocktail menu.

The new venues will include sites in London, as well as regional cities such as York and Leeds, with a focus on its Hampton and Hilton Garden Inn brands. The company only opened six UK hotels in 2016 so the growth rate is a step up.
The plans will include the Lincoln Plaza London in Canary Wharf, the second UK hotel in its Curio brand, a collection of independent hotels that retain their identity but are run by Hilton or under a franchise agreement. The latest set of growth plans follow the company opening the largest Hampton by Hilton hotel in the world at Stansted (pictured), meaning it now has sites at 18 UK airports.

The hotel is located on Long Lane in Southwalk, just a short walk from some of the city’s main historic attractions and offers 87 fully equipped studio, one and two bedroom suites with separate living, working and sleeping areas, as well as fully furnished kitchens.
Guests will benefit from complimentary hot breakfasts, communal laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, fitness centre, and a 24/7 Grab ’n Go Market in the lobby.
A second Residence Inn London property is due to open later on in the year. Residence Inn London – Kensington will be situated on Warwick Road in Earls Court, offering 307 suites with easy access to The Kensington Olympia Exhibition Centre as well as The Victoria and Albert museum, the Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall, and the Natural History museum.

The colourful pop-up can be hired exclusively with groups of up to 40 enjoying cocktails and food from the summer menu created by Harbour & Jones.

It will be the groups forth hotel overall and is due to open during the summer of 2019.

York’s first branded budget hotel chain, Travelodge, has opened its new flagship hotel at Layerthorpe. This is the company’s fifth hotel in the city, with York Layerthorpe Travelodge being the brand’s 547th hotel and its 34th hotel in Yorkshire.
York Layerthorpe is the company’s largest hotel in the city. The hotel has 128 bedrooms, a Bar Café, an on-site car park and overlooks the River Foss.
Travelodge have also announced that Yorkshire is a key growth area for the company and is looking for 12 new hotel sites across the county. Locations include: York, Monks Cross, Sheffield, Wakefield, Hull, Rotherham, Barnsley, Knaresborough, Bridlington, Headingley, Whitby, Wetherby, Northalleston / Thirsk.

The Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites will consist of 19 storeys and a combined total of 328 rooms. Located within walking distance of the city centre on Corridor Manchester, the venue, known as a ‘double pack’ concept will feature in the Crowne Plaza, an upscale restaurant, seven meeting spaces with a maximum capacity of 200 and a gym.
Staybridge Suites is opening for the first time in Manchester will be located on the upper eight floors and offer a mix of studio and one bedroom suites, with fully equipped kitchens and access to the fitness room and the 18th floor terrace.
